I warmly welcome you and thank you for visiting. Should you have any unanswered questions after perusing the site, please let me know. Within the constraints of my travel schedule, you’ll hear back from me.

Music has always been my life. I started piano lessons when I was five years old, and quickly fell in love. The conducting bug bit when I was ten years old (after attending a Leonard Bernstein New York Philharmonic Young People’s Concert) and from that moment on, I knew what I wanted to be. Today, there isn’t a day of my life when I am not grateful for being able to pursue my dream and do what I’ve always wanted. After over twenty-five years of professional conducting, I still feel it a privilege and blessing to be able to lead some of the world’s finest orchestras and opera companies in this sublime art form.

The arts provide us with the ultimate form of self-expression and give us fulfillment, enrichment, beauty and peace, and represent, quite frankly, all that is best about mankind. I love the responsibility and challenge of taking a great musical composition and bringing it to life. Recreating the inspired thoughts of a composer in as true and honest a way as possible, is my goal. Being a performing artist is a huge responsibility and one that I don’t take lightly. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
